Worked great, Love that it comes with all sorts of quality fittings so you're not having to piece it together, every thing you need!

We bought this because we live in Arizona and we don’t have the best water. It’s very hard so whenever we wash anything outside, it leaves water spots and when you shower with hard water, your skin can become very dry. This system has provided soft water for us and we can wash our cars and my dishes don’t have water spots all over them nor does my skin feel dry and itchy after a shower. I should also note that my husband was able to connect it in a very short time. It’s very self-explanatory.

True soft water results from this water softener and may I dare say better than the water softener in my old house. Las Vegas has extremely hard water and this RV water softener was worth every penny. The results are immediate, my skin is softer and the reduction lime scale buildup on faucets is noticeable. It was extremely easy to setup with all the accessories included. I converted an unused cooler into a storage for the unit to keep it out of the elements. Completely satisfied with the water softener and would recommend it to anyone full time living in RV. My only complaint is that I wish I would’ve bought it sooner. 5 stars

REVISED; I purchased this to soften water for car washes. When I first connected it, I tested the water softness with MEXYBE 4-in-1 and it showed zero hardness! Good start. Then I washed my suv three times using water supplied through this softener, then tested hardness again. Now it showed the same hardness as the supply water, ~240ppm. So I used the included instructions to regen using 2x26oz table salt and flush for 10 min. After regen, the hardness was still 240ppm. I contacted support, they recommended repeating the regen. I decided to read the instructions carefully this time and found I could not really understand the writing. I used Google AI and got much more comprehensible instructions. The second regen was successful!

This is my first review. We have been using this softener for 3 years now. Easy set up and regeneration. All hardware seems to be of very good quality. No leaks just good soft water. This is the best upgrade to our RV we have made. I would recommend this softener it adds a little luxury to camping experience.

I ordered this is 2024 and used it for my rv camping. I had an issue with the resin and contacted customer support and spoke with Ivy. She was extremely helpful and wonderful to deal with. We could not resolve the issue and even tho the unit was over 2 years old she shipped out a new one with zero hassle. The unit itself was awesome and worked fantastic. If you have soft water at home this is a must. Easy to use and re charge and lightweight easy to store. Customer support was awesome…

Excellent customer service. I had the softener a little less than 2 years and it started leaking. There was a crack in the head. I called customer service and without any discussion, ask for my address and sent me a replacement head free of charge. I received it in about 5 days. Installed it and the softener works perfectly. We are very happy with it. Definitely recommend buying this unit.

We are full-time in our travel trailer. I purchased this portable water softener less than a year ago. The cap cracked and began leaking. I contacted the company. The CSR was very polite and helpful. Within a day the company shipped me a new cap for no charge. I put the new cap on and it does not leak.A surprisingly pleasurable experience.Thank you

My son reports no issues with this RV water softener and had no issues getting it hooked up. Came well packaged with no damage.

Has worked flawlessly since 2003. However this past week I stripped the threads and now I can not get leaks to stop. I would like to purchase a replacement.

I generally wait to write a review after using a product for a while. I have been using this for almost 3 months now and all I can say is wow! This does what is says it will do. My water is so soft and silky no more hard water stains. I'm about to do my first recharge so if anything changes there I will let you know but I doubt it will. I highly recommend this product if you have hard water for your camper - I'm not sure about other applications but me and my camper love it!

Works well. Finally had a chance to bring it out to use at my camping spot at the limestone quarry near me. Water is super super hard here. This does a great job of softening it up quite a bit. I think it's cheaper now than when I bought it 2 years ago. Great product, works well, recommend.

Seems to be good quality, just got it flushed a dad hooked up to our Rv. Don’t understand though. All good quality parts, but include a junk dollar general hose.

Great product. Comes already charged ready to use. Very easy set up. Filters and softens water wonderfully. Holds up to the outdoors great. Highly recommend. We purchased for our park model camper and it has no problems keeping up.

Very impressed with this little unit. I followed the instructions and attached to my pressure washer. I could feel the difference in the water coming out, and was very pleased that the tractor I washed dried with no spots or film. Also nice to have spare washers included.

Easy to operate. Hook up to water let run for 5 minutes or so before hooking into the water line you are using it for. I’m using it on an RV.I took samples of my water before hooking this up and after. I’ll add those photos. I purchased the test strips and sediment filters because I have lime in my water. I didn’t hook those in I will when I fill my tank for camping.It is heavy gets heavier after adding water so if you cannot lift 30/40 lbs you may want to get someone to help you.I don’t know how to regenerate it that’ll be a later problem.I’ll come back and update if anything changes but as of right now I am satisfied with this softener set up.

The water softener worked great but the cap developed a fine crack in it and seeped water. I contacted the company, note I have owned this softener for 2 years. I got very quick email response wanting a picture of the broken part and my address. They sent me out a new cap and within 10 days I had a new cap at no cost that fit perfectly. What was even more astonishing is I kept getting email telling me the status of my request and then asking if I received the part and if it corrected the problem. This is excellent customer service. Thank you very much.

We haven't yet fully used this so I can't speak to longevity or even the effectiveness of regeneration, but I can attest to its effectiveness at softening water.First, though, the unit feels like solid quality, includes all the connections you might need, and is a good size for portable use.To see how well it worked, we immediately hooked it up to a source of well water that we knew to be very hard.We connected one hose to the softener and another from it, then fully opened the spigot and let it run for 6-7 minutes to flush out anything from the manufacturing process. That was the entire "prep."Then we took two water samples—one from the softener and one straight from the spigot.The unprocessed water from the spigot showed a hardness of between 500 and 1000 parts per million (between 29 and 58 grains per gallon).The softened water showed about 50 ppm (less than 3 gpg)!For a small, portable unit at this price (about $125), that is IMPRESSIVE.Again, this was very hard water—it pegged the scale on the test strips. But even at 1000ppm (divide by 17.118 to get the gpg), you can expect to treat about 275 gallons of water between regenerations. That means you can probably go an entire vacation in your RV without having to run saltwater through it.If this thing lasts even a couple summers, it will be well worth the cost to have soft water showers while camping!(In the photos, the "before" test strip is on the bottom, "after" is on top. The center color shows hardness. All other chemicals in the water remained unchanged.)

Update: NPGLOBAL had since made everything right concerning the faulty water softener. Anyone considering buying this water softener can buy with confidence that if something negative happens, they will definitely make it right.The threat of freezing winter weather has passed and today 11-April-26 was the first time we hooked it up. Unfortunately, it immediately started leaking from the "out" fitting where it attaches the the head. We really wanted this thing to work but unfortunately, we cannot use or store in in the wet bay because it will cause water damage. This item was a bit pricey to simply fail on day one, use one.

Exceptional job at softening the water and improving taste!

Had this for a couple years now. Still works very well and most importantly, it’s easy to get salt into. I had previously bought the supposedly number one best seller, I won’t name the brand with the blue colored tank, and while it still works well(I use two so that I can alternate them back-and-forth to drastically shorten my water downtime), it is extremely hard to get salt into. In my opinion, this NP global works just as well, is less money, and less hassle.

A crack had developed in the top cap, and NPGLOBAL rushed a replacement out no hastle!
